Model of the "Typical" Psychosocial Service Program: III. Topics Discussed During a Service Episode

This Knowledge Item presents two types of models of the "typical" experience in a psychosocial supports service program experienced by 2063 persons living with HIV/AIDS. The models presented here show the interrelationships between the different types of topics discussed during the service episode.

The model shown below relates the probability that a participant discusses each of 29 major types of (non-overlapping) personal concerns to an underlying latent dimension of "program involvement" or intensity using latent trait analysis (or two-parameter item response theory scaling).
