The Measurement Group has created a World Wide Web site on the Internet for HRSA/HAB's Special Projects of National Significance Adolescent Care Projects and an Evaluation and Dissemination Center. The 10 projects were funded to develop innovative models of HIV/AIDS services for youth. A wealth of information about these projects is available on the web site of The Measurement Group. The following is a list of some of the information about the projects that can be accessed on the web site.

Project Grantees. This section provides a contact list and project abstracts of the 10 grantees funded to conduct projects on HIV/AIDS services for adolescents.

Adolescent Care Projects Resource Index. This section presents individual web pages on the 10 grantees and contains program information, multimedia presentations, abstracts, and reports.

Adolescent Care Projects Cross-Cutting Evaluation: Presentations at Professional Conferences. 14 multimedia presentations and posters are provided in this section from meetings such as the: National AIDS Update Conference; Society for Adolescent Medicine; American Public Health Association; American Evaluation Association; Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration National Conference on Women; Research Society on Alcoholism; HIV/AIDS ’97: The Social Work Response Conference; and National Conference on Women & HIV.

Presentations by the SPNS Program Adolescent Care Grantees. This section provides 16 multimedia presentations that have been developed on various issues in adolescent HIV/AIDS care by individual grantees.

Adolescent HIV Conference Abstracts. This section contains 8 abstracts and posters on presentations made by the grantees at various professional conferences: SAMHSA National Conference on Women; Research Society on Alcoholism; HIV/AIDS ’97: The Social Work Response Conference; and National Conference on Women & HIV.

Summary of Reports on the SPNS Program Adolescent Care Projects. This article summarizes a series of three reports that have been prepared on initial findings from the cross-cutting evaluation of the 10 projects. The reports each cover the period from 1993 to 1996.

Report on Outreach Activities in 10 Adolescent-Targeted Projects for HIV/AIDS Services. This is the first in a series of three reports about the activities of the 10 projects. This report examines the methods that the projects use to recruit adolescents with, or at high risk for acquiring, HIV.

Report on Enrolled Clients in 10 Adolescent-Targeted Projects for HIV/AIDS Services. This is second in the series of reports about the projects. It examines demographics, needs, and behaviors of the clients enrolled in HIV prevention and HIV treatment services.

Report on Interventions Provided in 10 Adolescent-Targeted Projects for HIV/AIDS Services. This is third in the series of reports on the projects. It examines the services provided to the clients enrolled in HIV prevention and HIV treatment services.

The Adolescent HIV Projects Resource Materials Page. This section presents resource materials for adolescent HIV/AIDS treatment programs developed by the SPNS Program Adolescent Care Grantees.

Evaluation Modules for the Adolescent Care Projects Cross-Cutting Evaluation. This section contains selected data collection modules used in the cross-cutting evaluation of the 10 projects.

Information on HRSA/HAB's SPNS. A list of project officers associated with HRSA/HAB's SPNS is provided, as well as hotlinks to each via e-mail.
