27 HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau Special Projects of National Significance 1994-1999

These projects were funded by the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration as Special Projects of National Significance to develop innovative models of AIDS care. The projects fall into three broad clusters: a) models for the medical management of HIV/AIDS; b) models for providing social supports to those in medical management for HIV/AIDS; and c) models for improving the services infrastructure, primarily through training to healthcare providers. All projects were designed to improve services for high-need individuals who may have been underserved in the past.
