The Brooklyn Service Model: Prevention of HIV Transmission to the Neonate and Treatment for the Mother
The Brooklyn Service Model seeks to reduce the rate of mother-to-child transmission of HIV by developing a nationally replicable model for identifying and treating HIV infected pregnant women and to ensure that HIV infected women receive appropriate care, irrespective of reproductive status.
